Hunger Van at ICM
Since 2010, The Islamic Center of Maryland, in partnership with Muslims Against Hunger, has been providing food for the less fortunate in the greater DC area.
Every first Monday of each month, from 3pm-5pm, volunteers gather at ICM to prepare 200 sandwich and salad packets for DC's homeless. The Hunger Van brings meals & volunteers to serve delicious and nutritious food to 200 people on the street. Volunteers work with Hunger Van in cooperation with Salvation Army to feed the hungry in the poorest parts of Nations Capital
