ICM Food Bank
Since 2003, the Islamic Center of Maryland Social Services Committee, in partnership with the Montgomery County Coalition for the Homeless (www.mcch.net), provides and serves hot cooked meals to homeless people on the 4th Sundays of every month at their Men's Emergency Shelter, 600-A East Gude Drive, Rockville, MD 20850.
We expect to serve about 200 people every month from November through March, and about 80 people every month from April through October. Our menu items which can be dropped off at ICM or delivered to shelter include the following:
- rice
- baked chicken
- dinner rolls
- dessert (cookies, brownies)
- salad with dressing
- pasta
- non-carbonated drinks
If you can help with the preparing food, or for food setup and serving volunteers, please contact the social services committee.
